Life goes on
The sound of footsteps fading...
The sound of the last car driving out of the grounds...
Silence fell on the old school building as the last few humans left the grounds. A deep red, almost orange glow was cast on the West Wing of the building. The sounds of the birds flying in the air towards their nest in the tall trees, the sky darkening by the minute. Already the classrooms located in the East Wing was pitch black.
The soft pattering of the light rain was heard, the droplets of water, invisible to the naked eye, forming little puddles of water on the road. Silently, a sparrow landed in the shelter, ruffling its feathers to dry itself. The ginger cat, stalking it silently behind, pounced upon the tiny bird and killed it immediately. Picking it up, it left the canteen and hid in the shadows.
Another life gone yet again. But no matter how many die each day,
Life still goes on.

The destruction of Sodom
The trees swayed gently in the breeze as the leaves on the ground started dancing in one an intricate dance as they twisted and turned in a hypnotic fashion as the gentle breeze slowly started turning into strong wind which increased in speed by the minute.
Suddenly, in the distance, a large lightning bolt struck the city of Sodom as God unleashed his fury on the corrupted city full of greed and hatred.
Cries of the people rose into the air as buildings started falling one after the other, crushing the citizens under their huge weight. Lot's eyes widened in horror as he witnessed the deaths going on around him as his wife and daughters hurried around the house, taking with them their most precious belongings.
"Remember, never look behind you even if the urge is that strong. Pray to the lord for help." He reminded his family before they took to runnning out of the city.
